Climate Change Oil on paper fixed to board and oriental paper fans £250
These two creations are my last project for my final show at HCA The concept The impact of humanity on nature, the depletion of resources by a male dominated fuel hungry world means climate is changing. The dark silhouettes are to symbolize the feelings of a repressive relationship. The birds feel trapped and have a sense of solitude; I am shinning a spotlight on a problem I see in society today. Must there be this element of fear of terrorism. I hope my work gets the spectator thinking about the current underlying issues of this world. We all need romanticism in our lives to love and care for each other. I am concerned about the dark energy of repression in life, feminine power and grace is representing the beauty all around us and if this could be allowed to blossom we could tackle the negative effects man is having on this world. This painting showing a red rose and a white rose protecting each other in a dark abstract cage, the sunbirds are flying free. The three wise monkeys represent see n evil hear no evil, speak no evil,. The concept is encompassing love, desire, beauty, fertility, prosperity earth mother and victory.

The narcissistic confusion of social networks which causes angst.
How we are drawn to what is beautiful and interesting this can cause a distraction in human behaviour.
This could be considered a good thing because the human mind can create beautiful things.
The looks of romance and love can make the mind spin like the emotional sounds of music, lifting up like going into heaven.
The mind gets inspired to create beautiful architecture, but nature also has the key such as the unfurling of a fern.
There are many patterns in science, patterns in our DNA. Nature can allow the body to reproduce another and this in its self creates more beauty.
The creative mind uses patterns to design the windows in cathedrals and the colours come alive with the light shinning through.
Intelligent thinking, the matrix of how the mind develops and the brain tries to put in order the cultural, social and political environment, which again could be viewed like a pattern.
